Artist Spotlight: Yelawolf, Caskey, and Cowboy Killer

Artist Spotlight: Yelawolf, Caskey, and Cowboy Killer

We’re putting the spotlight on hip-hop/rap artist Yelawolf and his show openers–Caskey and Cowboy Killer–for the collaborative way this dynamic trio used SET.Live on tour.

Yelawolf was the first of these three artists to use SET.Live and he loved the concept of SET.Live from the beginning. When Yelawolf launched a headline tour, he wanted to get supporting act Cowboy Killer (who he also co-manages) using SET.Live too, which snowballed as they recommended SET.Live to Caskey

All 3 artists ended up using SET.Live for the entire tour and they all collabed to create unique fan experiences and really cool incentive prizes to get fans excited to engage and share their contact info.

What We love about how Yelawolf is using SET.Live:

  • These artists are doing ✨ the most ✨ with SET.Live! All 3 acts are using SET.Live during the tour, giving fans a TON of different incentives, like free merch, signed setlist, and other prizes. And by doing the most, they’re getting the most out of SET. All three artists are building up their fanbase CRM so that they can nurture direct relationships with their fans and build sustainable revenue streams.
  • Yelawolf is an artists’ artist and makes supporting his opening acts a priority. By including Caskey and Cowboy Killer in the tour’s SET.Live integration, those bands are getting great visibility, gaining new fans, and generating their own fan data.
  • All three acts utilize the post-registration page on SET.Live to promote their new music, using our built-in CTAs to direct fans towards their latest albums and releases.

Pro-Moves You Can Use:

  • Use pre-recorded audio liners to play to the audience in between set changes like Yelawolf, Caskey, and Cowboy Killer. This drives fans to SET.Live with minimal effort during the show so that artists can focus on rocking the stage.
  • Headlining? Get your support acts to use SET.Live! This gives all acts a better chance to drive fan interaction and collect contact info (fans are more likely to opt in to share data for every artist if each is offering different giveaways or experiences).
